American-Canadian Tour teams get a feel for the racetrack during the ACT Test and Tune. The Tour makes its debut at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 19 in the inaugural ACT Invitational, all a part of the SYLVANIA 300 weekend.
I also heard that a lot of the drivers that do not have super speedway seat time, got a very strong awakening as to what "aero push" feels like. Going from a 1/3rd mile or 3/8ths mile to a 1 mile has gotta be quite an adjustment.
Really looking forward to seeing this race. I was told on the second day of testing it was cooler and overcast and that made the track faster. The cars were about 1.5 seconds off the NASCAR Busch Series cars and the speeds were reaching between 145 to 150 mph. Gotta feel bad for TJ Watson, the Wiscasset driver for hitting the wall. Hopefully, can get it fixed to finish out his season and run the invitational.
