probably because they are two different companies and getting the rights to characters can be hard to obtain depending on agreement and how much they are willing to pay the other company. Just answering people's question on why they haven't made such a movie

SNES version was actually superior to the GENISIS version, I had both, the GENISIS version had blood... big freakin deal, the level design was better on the SNES.

To me, the music on this version is forgettable in comparison to the Genesis version.

i liked the snes version better, mainly the music. the 1st level's music appears in the last fight which i thought made the scene very creepy. gosh damn, the whole future was fucking scary as hell to play through, especially the factory.

@Otouto72 Because different studios own the rights to Robocop and the Terminator films, whereas 20th Century Fox own both the Alien and Predator franchises. Not to mention that Robocop is already being developed for a remake unlike the Terminator franchise.

@Mat001 Oh god they are not remaking Robocop as well are they? That would be good news for some but I'm the sort of person who dislikes remakes personally.
