it is not about interpretation - dislikes are because half of the time she cannot get both hands together! that, I am sure, WAS Bach's original intention.

Eva, always cooking...
Great, as usual.

I love this interpretation of this piece and the paying. Fantastic. The reason why it has taken so many negatives is because she's playing it similarly to Glenn Gould -- whom a lot of musicians and people in the music world can't stand, and who see him as a a bit of a gimmick. Just sayin ... in case one was trying to figure out the reason why all the neg votes.

As there're many arrangements for this piece - (Bach never indicated anything more than the notes, so they're usually adapted to what the arrangers interpret it as). You can interpret it however you want without having uneducated criticism all over you. It's like disagreeing her opinion(interpretation) that pretty much doesn't have a right nor wrong. The tempo was right, goes along with my arrangement. Well done, liked the presto part.

@ifailatediting Czerny's edition has 144, it's an editorial addition. Beethoven was the first major composer to use Metronome indications. Maezel's Metronome wasn't "invented" (Maezel ripped off Winkel's Chronometer) until 94 years after J S Bach assembled the 1st book of the WTC and 66 years after his death. Four different Musicologists have written on the subject of Baroque time signatures as Tempo indication,
@frekijsimpson I can't stand your type of people. Just because she interprets it differently from the narrow opinion you have formed, you think that means she can't play. OPEN YOUR MIND!!! People are different.
And personally, I quite liked her playing, I don't see how you can not.
