I made this animation while attending the Art Institute of Colorado in order to fulfill the requirements for three classes over the course of two quarters in 2000. My boss at the time let me use his render farm to get this done on time. (Thanks again, Tom!) The jungle was modeled by me. The grass was generated using the then-new Shag/Hair plug-in for 3DS Max 3.1. All lighting and animation by me. Enjoy.

PS Before anybody emails me about this, I made a chronological error by portraying dinosaurs running in grass, which as we all now know evolved several million years after the reign of the dinosaurs, I just was having fun with the aforementioned Max Plug-in. :P

  • Dilophosaurus?

How about you look that up on google and look at the extreme differences!

Dilophosauruses were carnivorous, so that tells me that the large herbivore that has ONE LONG crest, is a duckbill and is a Parasaurolophus.

  • It is actually a parasaurolophus

  • Oh Belive Me If That Was A Dilophosaurus Those Raptors Would Be Dead by now!

  • The Parasaurolophus looks really good.

  • BEST ANIMATION EVA!!!

  • nice

  • then again, its not a dilophosaurus, its a parasaurolophus :P

  • mate, how do you turn characters on poser 6?
