  • 50% of the cost of the system was paid for by the taxpayers.

In return, the taxpayers got what? Higher taxes!

This is not capitalism, it is crony-capitalism aka social-fascist "public-private partnerships.

And the "greens" have the nerve to blame capitalism for failing economies when the real problem is the power of gov't to redistribute to "special interest" campaign backers aka cronyism..

  • A grant for A means more tax from B!The money comes from someone!

  • Who in their right mind would buy a listed building which is not allowed to be insulated -this is ecological nuts? The people who are preventing the use of insulation in these buildings will soon be prosecuted for dramatic pollution of our planet and they need to be outed.

  • That Scottish chick is hot. You could use that to heat your house.

  • @emigrantgap Water will hold it's heat for a week if it's in a well insulated tank.

  • @yakyakyak69 well put. subsidies only benefit a select few don't they. our local pig farms ad cash croppers get nice subsidies and my grocery bill still get bigger. lol

  • @omegafile and on cloudy days? which its usually is when its cold. Dude, light up another!

  • there is plenty of wood scraps and waste here in the forests of usa but they won't let the public pick it up. its a shame. Nice setup

  • I got a better Idea, heat your house with shit, err um compost heap!

  • Dude...get a Fresnel lens to boil your water.. you don't even need the wood chips.

In fact you can get all the hot water you want from 1000 ft of black pipe with water running through it and store the hot water in tanks to heat the house at night..
