hey, how long does an ovulation usually last?

I'm not sure if i would be able to see ovulation in my royal. The thing is just huge anyway. When I say huge I mean 4000g. I can't find a box big enough for her to lay in and does she need a box or can she just lay in the substrate. Thing is i'm not sure if the snake has ovulated or is close to. A week or so back it had a shed but during the shed the thing looked a little larger than normal and i have observed copulation with a male. Any help would be much appreciated.

It is recommended that they are 1200g or more before breeding them.

how big is that female?? is she under 1500 grams?? i have a het pied female at 1100 grams. would it b okay to breed her. can i possibly get some eggs out of her. shes 3 ft 2 inch

i have a question, does ovulation mean that you don't have to breed her anymore as in she's a done deal and she's going to lay eggs. or is it a kind of menstruation in snakes? and if it is a kind of menstruation, what should i look for to make sure my snake is gravid?
