http://pretepress.wordpress.com. A male lion waits for his meal at the San Francisco Zoo's Lion House on Sept. 28, 2007. Tigers like the female Siberian tiger Tatiana, which attacked three people on Christmas Day 2007, killing one, were fed in nearly identical cages in the same building. http:www.pretepress.wordpress.com. everyone that comments on the small enclosure-
READ jmbarge1679's comments- IT'S ONLY FOR
FEEDING..so stop with the 'oh, how cruel'-
anyway, this is truly a sight to see & hear- an older
brick building and when they are getting fed, they all roar in anticipation, and the roars reverberate withing the building...it's cool.

It's not as barbaric as you think. They only bring them into this cage for feeding and when they're done with their meal, they're let out into a large outdoor area

That enclosure is totally barbaric. The City of San Francisco funded the expansion of zoo enclosures and habitats in the late 1990s. Where did that money go? To items such as the zoo train and cafes. A major overhaul of the San Francisco Zoo is long overdue.
