Its so common these days to see cheap, dangerous balls being used in gyms throughout the world. Did you know that the majority of the balls in use today will burst with the slightest prick?

In this clip CHEK Practitioner and Scandinavian distributer of Chek products, Alun Biggart, tests the quality of two anti burst swiss balls by puncturing them under load.

  • why would ye be standing on a swiss ball anyway, theres no benefit to it unless ye want to join the circus.

  • LOL, have you ever tried to skate board off a flight of steps and land it without falling back or forward upon impact? Pro skaters make millions as do other extreme athletes who have to launch and land on odd surfaces with implements that have directional stability at best. Besides there are many ways to use the ball for both open and closed chain conditioning. Probably one of the best single exercise tools ever designed.

  • 2:15 That's the most high Def damage quality video I've EVER seen.... brings a tear to me eyes

  • how did i get here?...

  • My advice is don't squat on a ball full stop.

  • Super cool shoes

  • @simon1234543 there are excrcises on the ball that are very good for both those areas but standing on the ball isnt one of them ,its a waste of time .Motor neuron reactions is a completely meaningless terminology.I can see some use for the exercise for a skater, surfer or skier but its still not near as beneficial as doing drills on the board or skis because its not specific enough to spend time on.For the fitness entusiast its useless and potentially an ankle sprain .

  • @billysue2 it's actually good for core strength and stability...also it help motor nueron reactions that i won't even go into...seems to me people have a negative attitude towards the exercise because they can't do it

  • I get my girlfrient to inspect and test my balls.

  • balls to you!

  • Nice shoes!

  • He's trained on it for years, and it's served him well...but he ends up stabbing it to death anyway
