i know first hand the train doesnt go into the yard anymore from hardings. inside b.i.w. there has been regular discussion of completely removing the steel rails entirely from the dry dock. THEYVE GONE TO TRUCKS! they bought a fleet of freighliner cabs and use leased trailers. ignorant but no one ever accused that place of bein overly intellegent.... but hey its a good job can't complain.

@GP9railfan Actually, Maine Eastern has been doing freight service since 2003, which was when they started service. But, they didn't have 764 back then. Before, they had 1501 assigned to most freight trains. Great video BTW. :)

Just think how much better shape the roads would be if less trucks were on the road. I'm sure most communities would appreciate the lower road maintenance costs, and the lower taxes. Trucks are hell on pavement.
