Len Cocco was the lead singer of this Brooklyn quintet. The group had two similar-sounding hits ("Once In A While" and "I'm In The Mood For Love") in early 1961, and then they stepped up the "tempo" with this song in the summer of 1961. But this song failed to reach the Billboard Hot 100.
