Ipolohagos Natassa 1970. The wedding of the wounded Aliki with Dimitris Papamihail is interrupted by the Nazis.
Spyros Kalogirou is the leader of the Greek freedom fighters and tells the Nazi commander: "In Greece after a wedding we prefer to have a big party rather than kill someone" and he shoots at the Church bell, instead.
This film was the highest grossing film ever, in Greece.
Nikos Foskolos wrote the story and directed, Giorgos Arvanitis steady hand was behind the camera, Kostas Kapnisis composed the great musical score.
A superb dramatic performance by Aliki setting to rest the rumors she was only made for comedies.
