All that he can do for his patient with all his knowledge and technique, we can do it because in the end it is true love, when you accept a person as he/she is, without the wish to change her.

@iDinosaurx No, don't think of him as inventing therapy; he simply founded a more "humane" form of it.
-
@archiedoggie Also known as enabling.
-
@NeilofSWC No evidence to support that.
-
@danceflooroddities Your parents must be thrilled with you. What a disgrace.
-
@sldmasters This therapy is not evidence based and not effective. You emotionally needy folks are so silly!

So Rogers, just like came up with the idea of therapy? Like how to emphasise and understand individuals ?

@Tribute2the80s The reason they say unconditional love... well because it's unconditional. You probably haven't seen any unconditional mothers have you? Well there are plenty out there.
Plus, unconditional love is the greatest, most powerful force in the world. I could see why it would work so well in therapy. You can't get any stronger than unconditional love, because it reaches to infinity.
I love and adore this man. He is the epitome of the therapist I hope to become. My heart is full just watching him and his astounding talents. I wish I could have been counselled by him :-).
