A fantastic night. The Hungarian goal endured siege conditions. McGhee headed in Strachan's cross. Two minutes from time McGhee side-footed Falconer's cross past Szendrei. In extra-time McGhee converted Strachan's cross at the far post. Szendrei butted McLeish and was off.

crushing is the excuse for everything up there :) aberdeen was better by a long shot in újpest too. it was strange úd could win at all. it seemed they were not in the same league to me.
