This is the song "Im Na'amin" from the Hebrew version of the movie.
After a lot of requests for lyrics and translation from many people I decided to engage this project. I'm sorry for the long absence, but serving in the army takes up most of my time nowadays... Once again, the VBR MP3 audio stream and flv compression gave me hell with the synch XD Credit for the clip goes to voksvictor, but the subs are almost entirely mine, so give credit (for the part of "Shirat Hayam" - Song of the sea [the part with the little children singing] credits go to King James for translating it for me:)

Note: As the Hebrew soundtrack was never published, so were the lyrics. Therefore, the lyrics brought here are entirely the way I hear the song. Some of the words are quite hard to understand even for Hebrew speakers, since they're not heard well, and they use ancient biblical Hebrew.

P.S.
I'm sorry, but it seems that despite a lot of effort on my side, some parts of the video are still a little bit out of synch (about 2-3 seconds different at the most). This is because I am yet to find a way of conversion which keeps the audio and video in synch (if you know one, don't hesitate to share it with me... :P I tried lots of different ways and this is the least skew I got XD
The subs, however, are in synch with the audio, so basically this video serves its purpose ^^

  • @Bette704 OK once and for all to get this "Ashira" matter settled, since I'm seeing way too many comments about this stupid mistake. I translated this song from hearing, not from a written text. "Mashiach" was the word I heard. I know I was wrong but it was an honest mistake and nothing more, I simply didn't hear the word right, OK?

By the way, you can't accuse me of christian bias since I'm Jewish, if you bothered to look at my profile before accusing you'd have known that already, lol

  • @DeathGeneral1 I do not believe it to be a mistake as The Ruach HaKodesh (Spirit of Holliness) has filled your ears with the same version as was heard by Yohanan (John The Revelator) in Revelation 15 when he spoke of the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb. I thank you for translating as such as I have been searching for the song on YouTube for "The New Song" must be sung by Messiah and his bride (the Church) or Assembly in Jerusalem

  • Hebrew sounds so beautiful! <3

  • Thank you so much for posting this. Love it!

  • uh. Jesus is the messiah, but he is also part of the trinity. the father, the son, and the holy ghost, like how I'm a son, a brother, and a cousin at the same time. so don't talk about something when you yourself don't have all the facts

  • Exodus 15:1 Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to Yahweh, and said, "I will sing to Yahweh, for he has triumphed gloriously. The horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.

  • you know what, I did not understand what she said and when I saw that I thought that the word is really "mashiach" :3

  • Listening to this song in Hebrew is so amazing! It's so beautiful.
