If you watch the bit when he does the splits listen to the audiences reaction cause he actually stopped doing then in 1990, something about him wanting to be able to have children .

I saw this routine for the first time in 1994. It was the first time I had heard of the couple, and their return to the olympics. After hearing so much about their accomplishment I began to follow them I was delighted when i found out they would perform this at the exhibition and I fell in love. You just don't see skating like this anymore, and this routine though simple reminds me so much of how to use strength, and emotion as a major weapon. They used it well.I fell in love with Ravel...

I remember watching this when I was like, 15! The reason I remember it was because they fell to the ice at the end, and I thought that so strange and unique. Thanks for posting this, it brings back great memories.
