Paradise Falls in Thousand Oaks California is a Waterfall over 50 tall just behind a major urban area (Thousand Oaks California). Located in the expansive Wildwood Regional Park. I took my video camera out in July 2009 and recorded my trip. Ted Mackel http://homebuysblog.com/2009/07/05/exploring-wildwood-park-thousand-oaks-cali...

  • Just stay out of the water. It's all street run off. Nice to look at, but I'd stay out of it.

  • @enjoythewildUSA Well thats your own 2cents. I personaly could care less of the quality of the water,if you've ever had water from Mc'Donalds im sure you've drank worst. Notonly to mention the water than you end up swimming in in the waterfall, is moving the water in that soft drink machine not so much. I know were the water plant is, heck ive been in it. So swimming in it dosent really bother me, and Ill be taking my dog with me. Maybe its just me, but I like living to "enjoythewildUSA" ......

  • @TheXYZProject Hey pal, I don't want to talk you out of it if you enjoy swimming there and you think its clean. Go for it. I love swimming in creeks. My favorite spots this way are Santa Paula Canyon and the Sespe River.

  • I've been swimming in that water my whole life. Mostly after it rains. Never had a single problem. So I guess some peoples assumptions though cautious and valuable are wrong.

  • i go to wildwood almost everyday we live in walking distance :) i went there today and it was awesome! snakes evrywhere! TONS of turtles awesome wildlife!

  • @TheXYZProject Oh my Lord...anyone who swims in that water is insane..it's truly filthy runoff from the city that is a few hundred yards from a water reclamation plant. Don't swim in it. Don't even let you dog go in.

  • It might be nasty but it looks nice. Lucky enough i'll be able to see it very soon and this time i'll have way more time.

  • @2007tacoma I was just there a week ago. It was beautiful and everything was a bright green!

  • you can if you'de like, but he's right, its pretty gross, plus now theres a group of kids they dont bug you, but they "control" it as a "gang" they cal them selves the "wildwood crew" its not as beautiful anymore either though

  • love this place

  • Pretty sure thats still in the Santa rosa valley borders not TO, you can cliff jump there. Its pretty fun, but you can get kicked out for even swimming..
