I cant believe Sterling falls for that UFO crap. It really takes away from his credibility.

@delvis11 - Sterling's segment of my show is his to do with as he wishes - he is a journalist who reports on many topics you will not find in depth reporting about in the corporate media

on the UFO crap, I try to keep an open mind - for all I know, its for real - there are many who say the Nazi's were experimenting with them during WW2 - so why not the Iranian's today? in any case, its an interesting report - something else to think about

You have to be aware that a lot of main stream energy research is conducted to ensure failure. Just look at the billions channelled into tokamak. It started back in the 50s & has chewed up billions with adsolutely NO benifit to humanity. Yet over 95% of fusion research is funding finds its way into one or another of these failed programs.It is in the interest of the vested interests that these technologies fail & in the interest of the scientists not to invent themselves out of a job.

@SmartScarecrow No you havent thoughy it through. A gold standard would be a return to honest money. The elite bankers couldn't have a fractional reserve system where they lend out a hundred or thousand times the money they actually have. Governments couldnt print gold infinitely as they do with paper destroying the purchasing power of the gold people have saved with this hidden tax called inflation,

The whole purpose of a currency is that it is stable, it doesnt degrade, it doesnt get "eaten".

I would be all in favor of a value based currency but the fact is, the same SOB's who are in control now, happen to own all the damn gold also ... conversion to gold standard ensures same bunch of crooks stay in power ... no thanks ... how about money based on cinnamon buns ??? in hard times you could eat them ... cant eat gold ...
