I had a powerbook, served me for 4 years, still works... now i am on an iMac, works wonders... I would tell that caller to go with the refurbush items.. since it will be like buying a new mac.. nothing refurbished, just a name tag but they are not that old.. just price cut down to reasonable pricing...
