Is it weird that the only times energon was bareable to look at was when they went back to the 'older and less impressive' traditional animation?

It's cool that they used normal animation style in this. Energon could be much better with normal animation... and with comic plot by Simonf Furman.

The plot is quite ok but the animation technique is not to my taste. I would prefer it if they had stuck to a more G1-esque style. ahh...it seems like some people have been giving us Animated fans some thumbs down ratings...pity these Geewuners, living in a golden age and failing to see the flaws of that show

Why not? The animation might not be to my taste but at least they have a coherent plot with continuity between the episodes unlike the mash-up that was G1 or the neverevending space opera that was Energon
