@xT0IVIx you have to get them out purposley in the day, otherwise they will just sleep all day and pay all night.

i got a pygmy hedgehog yesterday, she came out at night a lot, but she hasnt came out of her house ONCE allll day ;(, im aware they are nocturnal but she isnt even eating the mealworms that i put at the entrance, is this normal? x( ;P

@zate1982 dont worry, mine is the exact same, i think it has something to do with the breeder, because the place i got mine, one of the hedgies were nice, and this one i wanted to train was a little meany but im in the same place, but wouldnt trade him for anything

wow if i tryed to do what u did to those hedgies (like petting while drinking or putting him on his back) he will stab the poop out off me! But he is still my baby and i <3 him!
he is nice when u hold him but not if u touch him on the face!

You can't put hedgehogs together in one enclosure.
The reason why they are together is because that is the mom and 5 hoglets she gave birth to. This video was taken before they were weaned.

Most of the hedgehogs I have bred in the past are tame, like these guys.
There were a few bad apples, but I'd say around 80% of the total have great temperament.

I bred them.
My first ones were shipped from the US to the Philippines (where I live).
