Fragmento del documental danés Overcoming (Team CSC) en el que se muestra por dentro como es la vida de un ciclista durante la temporada preparatoria y durante las carreras. Es del año 2002 y ese mismo año Sastre estuvo a punto de colgar la bicicleta tras la muerte de su cuñado Jose María Jiménez. Sin embargo supo rehacerse y esto le hizo más fuerte hasta conseguir el Tour que todos hemos disfrutado.
Me quedo con una frase: Tenemos una cabeza dura porque nuestro deporte es duro.

@nagare67 La verdad es que esta era la única parte donde aparece Carlos, después de esta escena no interviene directamente casi para nada, como digo el documental se hizo sobre el equipo CSC, si estás muy interesado te puedo pasar el documental entero,(mándame un mensaje por mi cuenta de youtube) pero como ves está en Danés.

Carlos Sastre was not consider as he should be for the press. Not well "professional" journalist has not speak about him after he win the Tour it has been more or less the same after Indurain won his first Tour. I don't know why, but I think Spanish journalist don't live this sport with passion only as a work and they show so many times they don't care about what people like or would like.

Journalist only want idols, and I think they don't value Carlos's humility and perseverance. They prefer cycling "stars" like Contador, Armstrong etc.. because they have what journailst call charsima.
