From Episode 56: Bob shows the audience a live great horned owl, explaining several facts about the bird, before introducing a film with many types of wild birds. (The music in this film sounds like one of Joe Raposo's typical "funny" tunes; the location is probably a zoo somewhere in New York City, though I couldn't pinpoint the exact one.)

NOTE: Sesame Workshop has digital copies of the complete episode (and several others) available through iTunes--

  • @benvolio15 Me too.... as well as the little ditty

  • Last month, I saw an owl in the Beardsly Park Zoo in Connecticuit. I believe it was a great horn. Either way, it was awesome. The owl stared at us with the eyes and open beak of a real hunter.

  • For some reason I have remembered that jumping cockatoo at 2:27 all of my life.
