I know and I didn't say "too", never can be too big, just that can hold a lot of charge for when amp really needs it, of course good battery and big cables help a lot too, mostly... How much was it?

what do you mean way too big? capacitors really don't do shit in the long run, if you don't have a good charging system they don't work.

nice cap. and yea, capacitors kinda help but in the long run (long bass notes) they get drained and they gotta be charged back up via the batt and alternator there for if you have a powerfull system or power hungry amps then 2-3 extra batterys will help.

I had one extra 1000cca battery on the system.

NP, 100 only? that was cheap...How powerfull is your system? And also how much amps can this cap show apart from 999, does it have any limit on how much current can go through?

i'm running a true 2500 watts. if your running 999 amps it would be about 12,000 watts. at that point you wouldn't need any capacitors, just batteries and alternators.
