I love wild growth oil. I do the exact same braid out, I would do the twists but mine never seem to stay.

tha ponytails make ur edges pick out so becareful...try curling ur whole head with flexi ros cu u will soon have no hair on ur edges

I have also just discovered unrefined shea, butter, which is brilliant, works so well with my hair and ECO Styler Gel (No.8, Yellow Jar). Recently learnt the importance of prepoo etc, etc. Anyway... I just subscribed to your channel so hopefully we can give each other tips and learn from each other on how best to care for our natural hair.

Hi, I am a new youtuber here in the UK, and just stumbled on your videos. I am really excited because finally, (from what I have seen so far) you and I have the "exact" hair type. Finally I have found someone with my hair! 18 months ago I had to just brace myself and do the big chop because my hair was so badly damaged from uneducated hair care routines followed by chemical processes, I only had approx. 1/2", of regrowth and I held onto my long straggly ends for as long as I possibly could.

O.k. so you didnt do the B.C. right ? you just trans. to natural from your last perm ? the reason i am asking is i am a little nervous about cutting my hair but my get this my hair is EL (Ear Length) what would you suggest?

I didn't BC, I'm just letting the perm grow out by cutting my ends a little at a time as my hair grow. It will be 1 year since my last perm next month and I'm still not ready to cut the rest of my perm off. Do what's comfortable for you. You don't have to cut it yet.

when you do the braidout in a pony tail, do you braid your whole head or just th pony tail it's self?
