which praying mantis style is this?

Mine too, mainly because of the kung fu sequences by the man himself, Lau Kar Leung. Oh, and that short swordplay scene at the end is easily one of the best ever.

Yes. My gongfu teacher, Hu Jianqiang was in all 3 Shaolin Temple movies with both of them. The Martial Arts of Shaolin (Nan Bei Shaolin) is my favorite of the three.
Actually, this is the "Monkey Steals the Peach" form.

This is Yu Hai, former bodyguard of Deng Xiaoping and star of many wushu films. He wasn't on the Beijing team. He's from Shandong.

I appreciate the correction my friend. I have a DVD full of performances from 70's Beijing wushu team members which also includes this one, even though this clip is from Dragons of the Orient. Nevertheless, I always just assumed Yu Hai was from Beijing, so thanks for enlightening me.
