@FriedEggsWithChips A radio program on WCBSFM called the hall of fame had a program on roy orbison this was the last record the dj bob shannon played he had a scratchy copy better than nothing,when the station went out of business all the djs went elsewhere 2 years later the station was back in business bob shannon came back he wrote a book the story behind the hit

Classic, beautiful, heart rending song and completely underrated. I played this song just about every week (or sometimes every day) for years in my late teens... it was good to know that someone somewhere had felt the same way I had... thanks Roy for this song, and Crying, In Dreams, Blue Bayeau, Borne On The Wind and so many others... RIP.
