I miss my modded XBox, worked great up until the day it died on me...but I still use XBMC on my PC to this day...

I'm still using XBMC on my xbox. I've got one built in 2002 that can actually play 720p at a reasonable framerate.
Until I get a proper HD tv my xbox(s) will continue to be my main media players.
(Then of course I will build an HTPC and use XBMC still)

very astute comment by leo laporte when kevin says "best third party xbox application" and leo responds "best media center application i've seen ANYWHERE"... considering the fact that XBMC was a great program even back then, it has subsequently evolved into a multi-platform app, and it continues to be one of the highest rated & most popular media centers even after users moved away from the old xbox to newer hardware.
