The Notre Dame Choir (NYC) sings the Eucharistic motet "Tantum ergo" by Italian composer Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina (c.1525-1594).

Tantum ergo sacramentum [Let us therefore, bowing low,]
veneremur cernui, [venerate so great a Sacrament;]
et antiquam documentum [and let the old Law]
novo cedat ritui; [give way to the new rite;]
praestet fides supplementum [Let faith give assistance]
sensuum defectui. [to the deficiency of the senses.]

Genitori Genitoque [To the Begetter and the Begotten]
laus et iubilatio, [let there be praise and jubilation,]
salus, honor, virtus quoque [salvation and honor,]
sit et benedictio; [and power and blessing;]
procedenti ab utroque [and to the One proceeding from both ]
compar sit laudatio. [let there be equal praise.]

—St. Thomas Aquinas (c.1225-1274)
