Carson City and Indian Village was an attraction in Catskill, NY. It was a recreation of a typical town found in the Old West. Activities included live singing and dancing at the "Last Chance Saloon", authentic Native American rain dances, recreations of famous gunfights (such as the Coffeyville Shootout and the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral), train robberies in which guests handed over bubble gum, and gold-mining. After running for several decades, Carson City and Indian Village closed around 1997. This video was filmed around 1990.
It wasn't bad for kids but then again we didn't have to many choices. It was more fun just to use our imaginations playing outside way back in the day. :P
