Ohnishi Electronics: Printed Circuit Board Appearance Tester

Ohnishi Electronics Co., Ltd., which develops and manufactures tools and equipment to inspect electrical characteristics and functions, exhibited its "VISPER" printed circuit board appearance tester at the 38th International Electronic Circuits Exhibition (JPCA Show 2008) held at the Tokyo Big Sight.
The VISPER tester is designed for use mainly in initial visual inspections and in shipment inspections by substrate manufacturers and printed circuit board manufacturers, and with the VISPER, a uniform level of quality assurance, a feature of machines, can be achieved.
Ohnishi Electronics plans to equip the VISPER tester with a higher resolution camera in the future to further reduce false positive reports.
