Takamine G series 12 String Vs. Takamine G series 6 string

I found this 12 string beauty in my guest bedroom closet and with strings that were beat up and oxidized so i replaced them with martin Lights and it sounds amazing
This is my 2nd Takamine G Series 6 string acoustic guitar and this one is my favorite.
The 6 string is totally blown away by the sounds of the 12 string

i'm considering getting a new acoustic guitar ( my old one is a baby taylor) do you think I would be fine if my only acoustic was twelve strings or should I first have a 6 string acoustic before having twelve

@ledzeppelin689 i would definitely get a 6 string acoustic before getting a twelve string because although it may sound great there is a limit on what you can and cant do with it all songs that are played on a 6 string can not be played on a twelve string so i would get a 6 string before getting a 12 hope this helps

Nice Work B...wish i could "FIND" a 12 string in my closet...lol I like the 12 string sound...but it depends on what your playing...to me ..nothing beats a six!!!...Take care Buddy!!!
