Hey Eren, the solo parts reminds me of middle eastern music!

AWESOME job! No wonder why you area now working with JR!
Just 1 question: why did you choose to have a drumset live ? Wouldn't have been better with orchestra percussion alone ? Thanks!

@jmlc777 Thanks! Well for the percussion set, I had the parts... but there were no people to perform :( so as an immediate solution I put a drum set, far from the orchestra blocked with plexiglass to balance the sound..

Aside from this being beyond awesome (and I haven't even listened to the other 7 parts yet!), how cool is it that Jordan Rudess himself went out of his way not only to comment, but also to thank YOU for doing this?! I can hardly imagine a greater compliment! And how cool is JR for doing that?!

@zddoodah How cool is JR for inviting me to orchestrate his piece Explorations for Keyboard and Orchestra, premiere it along with 6DOIT in Venezuela by 3 shows + 1 two keyboards concert, and now even take the two keyboards concert to US this January? :)

who yelled it out?
SandalMonkey 1 year ago
@SandalMonkey Orchestra and I yelled. In the lyrics there's this "Intro tape begins to roll.... AAAAA" part, so we did accordingly
