Winter Geocaching on the Gaspereau River Trail II

On Jan. 16th, nine geocachers joined me for a hike/ snowshoe up the Gaspereau River Trail.

While I was only after the two most recent caches that were hidden in the fall, most of the group were in search of all four caches along the trail. Three of cachers also tackled the climb up the steep slope in seach of a cache hidden on top of the gorge, which I had also found previously.

We stop along the trail, fire up the stoves and enjoy a hot lunch beside the river while a couple of the cachers relax in BNC's hammock chairs.
