Why is nobody asking the simple, basic question: why are all the Western democracies so deeply in debt? Because the answer is too horrible for words.

  • Awesome. Knocking the truth out o' the park with a finely crafted Louisiana walking cane.

All the crowd can do is look up through the clouds of their cataract eyes, mouths gaping, skulls empty, yet filled only with the sound of their loosening dentures.

  • @eyejudgeeverything that is a very fine metaphor, thank you!

  • I'm just wondering Stefan...

You seem to think democracy is bad. If I'm not mistaken, democracy means "the people rule". Isn't that anarchy? True democracy must be anarchist, the governments "democracy", where the people decide... who rules them, is very false. You can't rule yourself if someone else rules you.

A bit strange comment maybe but I think you understand what I mean.

  • @JustSolveIt Anarchy means 'without rulers' - whether it is democratic collective or individual despot...

  • The best yet. The things that you talk about have been floating around in my head for a little while, and you did a good job of putting it into words. Thanks for this. I'm going to watch it again because it's inspirational. I don't get on with my dad; I love him, but he is a brick wall. He is extremely well read, loves Ayn Rand like teenagers love Lady Gaga, but he is SO judgmental! He needs to watch this.

  • @anafael1 thank you so much!

    In theory,

it was agriculture (farming) that created this inequality; it also created currency. One of the best thing I learned about in the last few years (besides Freedomainradio; thank you Stef) was that farming is inefficient versus gather/grazing.

I made a playlist including this video to share these ideas (work in progress) called "Philosophy of society"

  • @sonnyfic that's because he really couldn't give a shit about any of you ;))

  • @kittencartman The question to ask is "what should we do to best make it thru this fucking hell?"

  • So, what should the 'older generation' have done?

  • Hahaha Stef, a sociopath quoting a sociopath, I'm a sociopath too now don't get me wrong, we're all without conscience.

Debt only exists so long as we recognize it to exist and those we are indebted to hold power over us. Most of the debt is artificial to begin with, based on usury and inflation, the debt based monetary economy is unsustainable. A big part of the problem is capitalism.

Capitalism automatically siphons money up to business owners, & creates a whole class of financial predators.
