Great playing and tone. Some people really get it, you're one of em'.

It's old wood though, the best part is old wood and good necks

@PappysThinkChamber If it's a real '56 then someone has butchered it by routing out the pup bays and installing humbuckers as well as sanding the top back to the timber and re-painting it.
Why do such a thing to a classic Les Paul. I much prefer P-90s over humbuckers. My '56 is a touch noisy BUT it's worth it for the beautiful tone. Hardly noticeable at gigging volume.

Nice and thick. I wouldn't mind if u moved in the apartment next door.

How do you like the Hot Plate ? I read you lose tone. It sounds excellent through my computer speakers

@hapmoore1 I used the Hotplate for a long time and while it did color the sound a bit, especially at lower volumes, my biggest complaint was that it's volume control was segmented. There were many times that the volume I was looking for was unavailable because the Hotplate setting was either a too loud or a too quiet. I ended up getting "The Leash" by BadCat. It has a non-segmented volume and colors the sound even less. The only drawback is needing AC power for the fan.

How did you get that gain without plugging the inputs?

@DaveRingle I just plugged into the top left input and turned it up.

It can't be a real 56, the top and the binding are from the early 80s....Sweet axe still and some great jamming bro...

@PappysThinkChamber It was a 1956 goldtop with P90s until someone stripped and refinished it along with routing it for humbuckers. It's not a stock 1956, but I love how it plays, looks and sounds.
