Q.U.B.E. review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Q.U.B.E. for PC! Developed by Toxic Games and funded by The Indie Fund, Q.U.B.E. is a physics-based puzzle game that has you using your spatial relations to extract cubes to progress through the game. A lot of compamsion to portal can be made, but Q.U.B.E. holds its own by keeping the puzzles unique and fresh as you play through this fun little puzzle game. This CGRundertow review features game-play and commentary from CGR's Ashton.

Physics puzzle games aren't as fun without a female hal-9000 mocking you with irony and passive agressiveness....

I don't think Valve is gonna sue anybody since they sell it on steam which is owned by Valve. They have a demo on Steam, I played it, found it quite fun for what it was. Very Portal-like but a good game on its own.

Good review. I downloaded this game and been having fun - I like the variety of puzzle types used throughout the game. I think the lack of a story actually makes the game more immersive because if you think about it, if it really was you who woke up inside this place, you wouldn't know what the hell was going on. I also like that you are given no instruction - it makes it more rewarding when you figure it out for yourself, and the gameplay is simple enough that it doesn't get in the way.
