but I think if you look hard and know your jeweler, you can get it around $8500. But the more basic el primeros can go for "just" $5000. Like you though, I LOVE this open grande date model.

you cannot copy an el primero movement any further than a certain point. making a fake el primero would be waste of time if you're trying to sell it as a real one. it's one of those technical masterpieces that cannot be copied even by other greatest watch companies.
