You don't betray the Lich King, he betrays you. Arthas sends you (under the command of Darion Mograine, leader of the Death Knights) to your deaths, fighting an impossible battle at Light's Hope so that Arthas can lure Tirion Fordring from the chapel and corrupt or kill him. You and your death knights are simply bait.
When you (and Darion) learn this, a battle takes place, and long story short, you wake up in the present in Light's Hope, attended to by the Argent Dawn. Arthas is pure evil.

To bad it sucks you stop fighting for the lich king and fight for the horde or allaince depending on which race u chose. I would rather keep fighting for the scourge lol

Some actually really like this expansion................but again it might go the way of Burning crusade. I think this will be fun so stop Pmsing and go play warhammer fag ^_^

lol its funny one of the guys in the starting place, darion mograine has 11.15 million hp, why didnt blizz just make him invunerable..

I have a question,
How will the race of your DK be determinend?
Will it be the same race as the one you completed the quest with.
for example. completeting the DK with an Orc = Orc DK?

ur character doesnt turn into a DK. Blizzard scrapped that idea a while back. once u have a lvl 55 char, the option to make a DK opens up
