Gyrocam using a gopro HD

Just a short ride testing out doing a gyrocam effect using a gopro HD and video editing software. I don't care for the placement of the camera for this type of effect, so I do plan on doing another video from a different camera angle. I'm also looking into getting a real Gyro for the bike soon. Just remember to subscribe, I will post videos of future test with the gryo effect and hopefully with a real gyro mount.

Found a bunch of places where I could have made it a lot smoother, but I guess that's what I get for doing it at 5am, oh well. Will spend much more time on the next test with the better camera angles.

very cool....it's a nice effect. Are gyro mounts easily available for gopro? If the effect becomes more popular, there'll surely be alot of people asking for the mount.

@danmu I think I might have found an affordable one that is made for RC helicopters, going to try to find out more about it, will let you know soon as I find out some info. but looks like it will work for any of the small wearable cameras, so should work with your contours, just need to fab up a way to mount it.

Ok where is the Gyro Scope effect ? ? ? I see a Go Pro on a side of a bike ! !
