Agence Métropolitaine de Transport 406 is a 1997 Bombardier Electric Train line on Deux-Montagnes line. Seen here as it departing at Sainte-Dorothée when boarding, the 2nd part is departing at Roxboro-Pierrefonds heading back to Montréal.

  • Patronage must have really jumped since the introduction of this equipment. When the old CN MU's and box-cabs were running, trains were usually about 6-7 cars long but I'm seeing a 10-car train here.

  • Wow, I've never seen this Bombardier equipment before, but the design language seems to be the same throughout all of their equipment. The high-level doors look identical to the 01800 series MBTA Red Line cars and the body profile identical to the LIRR and MNRR M7/As.

  • How do you ride if you're in wheel-chair? Gosh we're in 2011! I spent a month in France, Bombardier makes them such beautiful trains: youtube.com/watch?v=OGhth4AP7fg

  • aside from lack of space, it was a very smooth ride! oh and at 1:20; Bless you lol :P

  • OMG!!!!! it's empty :P

  • I know this by hearth, I take it everyday :)

  • Very nice! I rode one of these back in 2006 when I was in Montreal and quite enjoyed it!

  • cool train i like how the doors open and close just like an rts bus
