I kept him in a 46 gallon tank for over a year but he just recently died. Although nothing else died I'm sure it was because I wasn't keeping up with water changes. This fish was terribly skinny when I got him and took three or four weeks to fatten him up to normal size.
If he wasn't happy I imagine he would of died right after I bought him. The bar gobie kind of bonded with him so that really helped.

What size tank you keeping him in? I have a 30 gal. and people are telling me their a no go. Yours seems pretty happy though. Nice fish!
