Love this song! I'm more used to the album version... Is this the original vers. on Factory records..? Great song anyway, and that gig flyer advertising a show with OMD & the Cocteau Twins...wow , would love to have been there for that!

That duel tape recorder is truly a beautiful work of art..

And then that reel to reel tape machine..

Now those were fine machines..

There is nothing like watching those reels spin as you record and play back..

I miss recorders like that and wish they would bring them back.

Bought this unheard at Schoolkids records in Ann Arbor right when it was new because I loved the cover and the name of the band. Although I love most of their stuff this is still my favorite song and version..

@orangie84, I am in love with this song,m and it's not even my generation of music. I'm 27, and the song just speaks to me. This was when OMD (Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark) was good. They have songs like If you Leave, bust this was one of their best. Someone told me that the song was not mainstream music for its time, but I was never a mainstream kind of guy. Anyway, I agree with you. This song is the best. Cool beans!
