Does anyone else recognise this room as the same one that "Dragons Den" is filmed in?
-
@alilinzee absolutely. it must have taken a thousand takes to finish this

I prefer the US version by far now (I'm english), Michael Scott was a much 'nicer' boss and demanded more sympathy from the audience then Brent ever did. It is much better as a classic comedy (Threat Level: Midnight etc etc), more witty and found it's form in the second series onwards. The UK version was, in it's time and place, exceptional and genius too, but I agree, more an authentic mockumentary and thus a different beast.

Can't agree more. Carrell can't hold Ricky's jock.
-
The UK version is just perfect. I can't point out anything wrong with it at all.

This for christmas number 1

@SimonTones shut shut SHUT UP!!! every fucking office video has the same row!! gervais and merchant are a big force behind the american one too so you're dissing them. I'm english and like the american one too.

ofcourse the uk version is better, we have a witty sense of humour...americans will laugh at anything

Wonder if he's ever gotten through anything in one take. Probably not and I hope he never will. :)

think ricky is wounderfull, love this video so funny.

I'm an American and I think the British version is far superior. I actually watch the American version and think its a very good American sitcom. The UK version was much more than a sitcom. It is truly a mockumentary. I wouldn't even call it a TV show. It was certainly unlike anything I'd ever seen or seen since. Absolutely genius. It actually took me a long time to finally give in and start watching the American version. When I did, I liked it. But its nothing special.
