  • GREAT track, I also like the new version in his new solo album.

  • This was a great concert, I was there! The previous night in Fairfield, CT was even better! Marty Balin is AWESOME...as is Slick Aguilar!!!

  • I have seen Marty and his Starship at least 35 times since the early 70s..I seen them July 23 2008 at B B Kings...Does anyone have a video of the show ...Marty is the best

  • I think his voice has got better! Sometimes it was hard to distinguish his voice from Grace Slick's in JA days. Or was that just me?

  • Marty still sound good after 40 years!(How?)

  • The intent of the lyrics still holds true and has nothing whatsover to do with Hezbollah. Bruce was concerned with the craziness in Central America when he wrote them. I'm trying to decide whether I like the original version better or Marty and mate's. I'm an old fart, so I saw J.A. back in '67. His songs, "Today" and "Coming Back To Me" are beautiful love ballads that will stand the test of time. Great to hear his voice has held out. Was that an Ovation guitar he used here...?

  • Damn that Marty Balin... who does he think he is, showing compassion for the suffering and hostility for the tormentor?

  • Awesome video

  • this is a pretty cool song,it was orignally written and performed by bruce cockburn

  • Yep, Marty sounds good and the band is tight...but what's with the far-left-lyrics? While the original song was a left-wing anthem about problems to the south of the US, in these troubled MidEast times, it sounds like Marty is doing a benefit for Hezbollah.
