@FilipRapp : it was!!! that was the first time i heard this song. but, i think it was a demo and they added all the orchestrations after. that movie came out in 1978, same as destroyer (which is the album with beth). i like the original version of the movie better, they re-did it for kissology and changed the fight scene music from the cheesy disco stuff to KISS tracks. also the remake is called KISS in attack of the phantoms vs. kiss meets phantom of the park

Howard Stern is right: most popular music is over produced. (This includes Folk as well as Rock; James Taylor on the Beatles' Apple lable is a great example.) This is a slightly raw but beautiful version of Beth. And, hey, if you're a big KISS fan; if it weren't for Unplugged, there never would have been a reunion tour.

@sarabower1 It's weird though, because it's like, SO bad that it BECOMES good, in that kind of hastily produced, exclusively for profit kind of way? My most favorite least favorite movie.

If I'm not misstaking... I don't think this is a "demo" for Beth. I think it actually is the version that appeared in the movie "Kiss meets the fantom of the park".
