I went to this guys shows 25 years ago and he has to be the most unsung guitar hero ever! I don't think he ever got the commercial success or recognition he deserves.

Michael Schenker is a very good guitarist but he would not have fitted in Ozzy's band.

Know what's ironic? When Randy Rhoads died, Michael was the first person Ozzy called to replace him...but Schenker was really haughty and arrogant and greedy so Ozzy said fuck it.

@brnleague99 This is what Schenker said about that offer from Ozzy:
I had refused Ozzy Osbourne and I had refused Aerosmith and in the beginning I wanted to say yes but then I realized I would be copying other peoples music and I that wasn’t what I wanted to do. I could play with the Scorpions if I play my own songs but if I had to play other songs then it was boring and not fun.!
Ozzy was the one that said Schenker wanted to charge him a fortune, Sharon was the one in charge back then,

when Rhoads die , Schenker had his MSG act going on ,am glad he didn't join Ozzy!

yea he can play but completely missed the point on what made this song great sometimes you got to play to the song

This is just a cover,is not meant to knock off the original,this is War Pigs Schenker style!
Originals are hardly ever touched,they will always remain the best!
It would be like Iommi doing a cover of Schenker's Into the Arena!
