I directed this spot for Boomerang, Cartoon Network's sister network devoted entirely to Hanna-Barbera's catalog of shows and films from the 50's to '70's. There were a series of 3 that were done at Primal Screen (Atlanta). I did the 50's themed one, with a nod to UPA and mid-century design. I guess you could say that this is what started it for me -- I totally got hooked on that style of animation when I did the research for this spot.
