This is the Black Metal band Weariness with "Forsaken Tomb", the second track from the Gaze Upon Suicide Instrumental Demo released in 2004. This band is fairly underground and has created one other album entitled "I.D.I.B.", also the alias chosen for the only band member (who formerly went by Sombra Oculta). This project comes out of Lisbon, Portugal, and plays more of a Raw Black Metal sound with lyrics that are indicative of Depressive Suicidal Black Metal..
As you can probably tell, there is little to no bass noticeable here, and it is a very minimalistic recording, but not to the point of mundane repetition. I'm not even sure how I got a hold of this album, as apparently it was never formerly released, but when I first heard it, I must say it had a hypnotic affect upon me, much to the effect of an Abyssic Hate instrumental release. Good luck finding the first demo, I've had none in finding it myself. I'll also say not all black metal listeners may have a fond liking to this, but those that do will appreciate it's high-tempoed yet somber tonality.
good riffs and atmosphere...good stuff

The cover photo is of Mt. Tahquitz!! I can see that mountain from my house!! Check out my DSBM video on my page for some of my own photos from hiking on that mountain.

This may be a silly question to you NihiL, but have you heard/like the band Weakling?

I must be honest, with the title "Forsaken Tomb" the first thought that came to my mind was: ·Another BM band copy... Anyways i will hear it.· ...
With the first riff, i said ·At least it has a great bm essence·
And after that it immediately caught me, i could see it has a remarkable DSBM inclination, and it needs no vocals to possess its entire majesty.
I just loved it. (:
Continue this great uploads.
