As a Thai who loves our land, our country and as a people who have been following Thai politics closely, I would say that the whole picture it's a kind of one-sided truth.

You're right that he's overwhelmingly elected and his parties were dissolved 3 times. But this is the result, not the cause. The cause for parties dissolved was there's bribing money to the poor which you've never mentioned it.

This speech was just a good spin that weight all blames to others

Mr. Giles, you are right about so many things. But in Thailand, they are small group of people want to keep the country moving slowly; the way they wanted to. Thaksin is just moving it too fast, your new boy have forgot the old's school folks.
