Watch our new television ad, featuring Governor Rick Perry discussing why he is proud to endorse David Dewhurst to be the next U.S. Senator from Texas.

In the ad, Governor Perry trumpets David's conservative record of repeatedly cutting state spending and opposing a state income tax, saying David is the "one candidate best prepared to make conservative change happen in Washington."

Texas schools are the worst, our drop out rate is the worst, our services to the disenfranchised is the worst, 1000's of teachers laid off so Dewhurst/Perry could balance the state budget...Perry's failed presidential campaign cost taxpayers millions for his DPS security team...the embarrassment goes on and on. An endorsement from Ricky Perry does not carry the weight that it did in the past. That said, I am sure an empty suit like Dewhurst will make many Texans happy by going to DC, stroking his ego, and accomplishing nothing.
